There are so many endings and new beginning this time of year for all of us. So many possibilities, a new season. We here in Massachusetts and the entire New England area
patiently wait all year long to enjoy these few precious months of summer. Let’s not waste them with frizzy dry and brassy hair.
Part of this new season of sun and fun that we are entering is part our responsibility. We can’t blame the best season in New England for our bad hair. This season brings dryness, fading, brassy hair and frizz. Possible bad hair and Summer can go hand in hand strolling down the beach, or it can be a much better outcome for your social occasions and beach days. Your choice? Choose good hair? Or I don’t care?
I know I care; I want to look my best wherever I am this summer. Work, the dog park, the beach, a special wedding or baby shower, and a dinner date with my special person in my life.

Frizzy hair

Hey, it’s a personal choice. If you’re longer get a trim? It will help the ends stay healthy through the summer months. If your hair is on the shorter side, above shoulder length, maybe a slightly shorter style will give you more body and bounce this summer season, and a fresh new look! In between length, we should have had this conversation a few months ago. No sorry just being funny, stand your ground, some of us must be grounded. You’re all my idols!

Flat straight hair - You are not forgotten.
Flat straight hair needs a volumizer and a root boost styling product combination this time of year. Maybe even consider using a few Velcro rollers in the crown area after blow drying to get a little extra boost for special occasions of that important meeting. After blow drying, section and roll in 3-4 rollers in crown for that extra boost. Let them sit till its time to leave, finish your style and hairspray in place.

Get some travel size of your hair care.
Travel with a detangling brush.
Invest in a UV protectant or heat styler spray for your hair.
Try to air dry and go “Au Natural” with styling product, of course, Rinse or shampoo your hair as soon as you can after salt and chlorine exposure.
